What Are Warns, Demorgan and Bans in Black Russia?

A warn is a warning that immediately removes you from your faction and blocks you from joining any faction for 10 days. Three warns trigger an automatic 10-day ban. Demorgan is jail: 30–120 minutes in isolation. A ban blocks your account.

“You got a warn,” “you were sent to demorgan,” “you got banned”—three different punishments with different consequences. Demorgan means half an hour to two hours in isolation: it’s unpleasant, but that’s it. A warn hurts your faction career. A ban locks your whole account, for a set number of days or forever. Here’s what happens to your account with each punishment and how to appeal if you were punished unfairly.

Kick / КикKick

Disconnects a player from the server (they can log back in right away).

Mute / МутMute

Blocked from using text chat for a set period.

Voice muteVoice mute

Blocked from using voice chat.

Jail / Джайл / ДеморганJail

Isolating a player in a designated area (in-game: Fort Demorgan; in organization rules: “Jail 30/60/90 minutes”).

Warn / ВарнWarn

A warning issued to a player that comes with temporary restrictions. When a player gets a warn, they are automatically dismissed from their faction and can't join any faction for 10 days; the warn remains on their account. 3 warns automatically block the account for 10 days.

Ban / БанBan

Temporarily block an account.

PermBan / ПермачPermanent Ban

Permanent block of a game account (forever).

Report MuteReport Mute

Blocked from submitting complaints and questions via /report. Issued for misuse of /report (3.12, 30 minutes).

Обнуление аккаунтаAccount Wipe

Reset all of a player’s property: money, phone number, skin, vehicles (including plates), real estate, transport/construction company, business, gas station, family disbandment, and inventory wipe.

ЧСП / ЧС проектаProject Blacklist

A list of players who are blocked from all project resources except in-game chats, the official forum, and Discord.

FraudFraud

Serious violations of one or more project rules that result in a penalty (ban). Example: buying currency on one account and transferring it to another personal account (for example, through a car trunk).

Compare the punishments by severity

Here’s the general server-rules ladder, from mild to severe:

Punishment What happens Example offenses
Verbal warning An admin asks you to correct a mistake Incorrect RP name (4.06–4.08), noise in voice chat (3.16)
Kick You’re disconnected from the server but can rejoin immediately AFK on a road or in a doorway (2.07)
Mute You can’t type in text chat MG (2.18), caps (3.02), spam (3.05)—30 minutes each
Report Mute You can’t write in /report Transliteration, caps, off-topic messages or swearing in reports—30 minutes (3.12)
Jail You’re isolated in Fort Demorgan DM—90 minutes, DB—60, NonRP—30
Warn You’re removed from your faction and locked out of all factions for 10 days Mass DM (2.20), second TK or SK (2.15–2.16)
Ban Your account is blocked for a set period Mass DM—3–7 days, scamming a player—15–30 days (2.05)
PermBan Your account is blocked permanently Selling an account (2.42), transferring an account (4.03)
Account wipe and project blacklist Your property is wiped, and you lose access to project resources Selling virts for real money (2.28)

An account wipe deletes all your money, phone number, skin, vehicles and their license plates, real estate, transport or construction company, business, gas station, and inventory. Your family is disbanded too. The project blacklist blocks access to all resources except in-game chats, the official forum, and Discord.

Find out what a warn does

  • You’re immediately removed from your faction if you’re in one.
  • For 10 days, you can’t join any faction.
  • After 10 days, you can join one again, but the warn stays on your account.
  • Your third warn automatically blocks your account for 10 days.

You can get a warn for more than just RP violations. In government factions, you can get one for placing a wanted level or issuing a fine without an IC reason—that is, without an in-game reason (Police Department (УМВД), Traffic Police (ГИБДД), FSB); for a Police Department employee’s NonRP behavior; or for taking part in family activities while wearing your organization’s uniform. The administration decides whether to issue it. See the full list of rules in the general rules.

Appeal a wrongful warn the same way as a ban: submit an appeal on the forum.

Check how long you’ll spend in demorgan

In the rules, Jail means isolating a player in a designated place; in-game, that place is Fort Demorgan. Here are the time limits listed in the general server rules:

  • 30 minutes — NonRP behavior (2.01), avoiding RP (2.02), NonRP driving (2.03), lying in /do (2.10), using work or faction vehicles for personal purposes (2.11);
  • 60 minutes — DB (2.13), TK (2.15), SK (2.16), driving a work truck across fields (2.47);
  • 90 minutes — DM (2.19); for law enforcement, dealing damage without an IC reason on your organization’s grounds (government organizations rule 1.11);
  • 120 minutes — animation abuse, such as removing the weapon restriction in a green zone (2.55).

Demorgan also resets tasks. For example, according to the help guide, a car thief’s task disappears if you’re sent to demorgan before handing in the car. Find out what counts as DM and how to avoid those 90 minutes on the page about DM.

Don’t pay someone to “serve your time”. Players in in-game chats offer to “serve your demorgan time for 30 ₽ an hour.” To do that, you have to give them your account password. Transferring your account to a third party gets you a PermBan under rule 4.03.

Know what gets you banned outright

  • Scamming a player, including “taking their money and leaving the game”—a 15–30-day Ban or PermBan (2.05);
  • Cheats and third-party software, including macros—a 15–30-day Ban or PermBan (2.22);
  • Buying or selling in-game currency for real money—a PermBan, account wipe, and project blacklist (2.28); buying currency through the official website is allowed;
  • Selling property or an account for real money—a PermBan (2.42);
  • Advertising other projects, servers, or channels—a 7-day Ban or PermBan (2.31);
  • Insulting someone or mentioning their family in any chat—a 300-minute Mute or a 7-day Ban (3.04);
  • Six or more violations in 7 days—a 7–15-day Ban (2.39); text chat punishments and kicks don’t count toward this total.

The rulebook versions don’t always match. Under rule 2.04 (disrupting gameplay), the Russian version gives a 3-day Ban, while the English version gives a 10-day Ban. Under rule 2.02, the forum version says avoiding arrest gets you a Warn, then a 3-day Ban for a repeat offense; the help guide says Jail for 30 minutes or a Warn. Check the forum for your server.

Appeal your punishment on the forum

Choose the section based on whether you agree with the punishment:

  • You disagree and think it was a mistake: “Complaints” → “Complaints Against Administration.” These are reviewed within 48 hours.
  • You agree but want the punishment reduced or the time shortened: “Complaints” → “Punishment Appeals.” These are reviewed within 72 hours.
  1. 1

    Open the official forum and find your server in the list.

  2. 2

    Go to “Complaints,” then open the right section: “Complaints Against Administration” or “Punishment Appeals.”

  3. 3

    Create a thread with a title in this format: “Nick_Name administrator | Reason.”

  4. 4

    Fill out the form: your Nick_Name, the administrator’s Nick_Name, the punishment date, the reason for your appeal, and your evidence.

  5. 5

    Attach unedited video or screenshot links from YouTube, Yandex Disk, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Imgur.

Forum link: forum.blackrussia.online. Here’s what to know before you submit:

  • Only the account owner can file; appeals submitted for a friend won’t be accepted.
  • You have 14 days from the account being blocked. After that, you can’t appeal.
  • An empty section doesn’t mean anything is wrong: only admins and tech specialists can see submissions.
  • No reply within the stated time? Check the section and your form, then contact tech support through the chat on the official website or message your server’s management with a link to your thread.
  • These punishments can’t be appealed: account dumping, currency sales, scams, deliberate bug abuse, selling or transferring an account, hiding bugs, third-party software, sharing confidential information, or deceiving the administration.

The server management makes the final decision on bans, and submitting an appeal doesn’t guarantee it’ll be accepted. Keep it respectful: disrespecting the administration, even in a report, gets you a 180- or 300-minute Mute (2.54), while faking evidence counts as deceiving the administration and gets you a 7–15-day Ban (2.32). If you were punished for something you didn’t do, video evidence can make all the difference. The page about DM explains how to record it. If you’re new and want to avoid this in the first place, check out the new player guide.
