Black Russia (called BR or Black Rasha in chats) is a multiplayer role-playing game for Android and iOS phones. It takes place in a Russian region with cities, villages, highways, and government agencies. Every player chooses a role: taxi driver, trucker, police officer, doctor, business owner, or gang member. The game is played in RP (role-play) style: your character has a Firstname_Lastname nickname, and you act by the server’s rules.
The first servers, RED and GREEN, opened on April 20, 2020. Color-named servers launched through January 2022, bringing the total to 22. City-named servers followed from March 2022, starting with MOSCOW. The game now has 92 numbered servers and the international RIO [00]. The newest server, TASHKENT, opened on October 17, 2026. Your character is tied to one server, and you can have up to three characters on each.
The game runs on Android 7.0 and iOS 13 or later. There’s no computer version, but the developers allow you to play using an emulator. The core gameplay features eight government factions with ten ranks each, jobs, businesses, cars, families, and the seasonal Black Pass.
Get your documents and earn your first money
Your first few hours in Black Russia are all about getting your documents and earning some money. Here’s an order that saves time:
- Complete the tutorial and choose an RP nickname — you won’t be accepted into any organization without one.
- Enter promo codes: system codes give you a car for 6 hours, while starter codes give you 15,000 rubles.
- Get your driving licence — the driving school answers can help you pass on your first try.
- Pick a job that suits your level and save up for your first car.
- Learn the RP terms and rules to avoid getting a warn or ending up in demorgan.
