More than half of the Traffic Police test is about laws, not the charter: 10 questions on the Criminal Code and 6 on the Administrative Code, including prison terms and fines. The duty officer gives the test to regular officers who’ve already been accepted. Pass it and you’ll reach rank 2 (corporal) and unlock assignments. Answers to the 8 earlier HR questions are below, in a separate section.

Take two tests, not one
Many players searching for Traffic Police answers get stuck at the first stage: the HR interview. It takes place at the Duty Unit in the Traffic Police building. The questions are about project rules, not the charter. One mistake means you fail and have to wait 5 minutes to try again. Here are the 8 questions:

After that, you’ll be accepted as a regular officer (rank 1). Change into your uniform in the locker room on the first floor, through the door marked “休息室” (Латынь?); according to the charter, you can only go AFK (away from your device) there. Then open Tablet → Factions → Documents to find the charter the duty officer will quiz you on. Under the forum promotion system, the only requirement to move from regular officer [1] to corporal [2] is: “Pass the test with the duty officer.”
Get your documents ready in advance
The Traffic Police is one of the strictest factions when it comes to joining. You need level 4 and four documents. HR won’t accept you without any one of them:
- Medical card — get it at the Hospital for ₽5,000; it takes 10 minutes;
- Military ID — serve in the Army up to rank 3, or buy one in the shop for 129 BC (donation currency);
- Weapons licence — get it from the Government with at least 70 lawfulness and a ₽30,000 state fee;
- Category B driving licence — get it at the Driving School for ₽2,500.
That’s ₽37,500 if you pay in rubles, plus time in the Army. Keep in mind that the weapons licence is valid for 30 days and disappears if your character gets injured and ends up in the Hospital.
Memorize the numbers in the Criminal and Administrative Codes
The questions in sections three and four aren’t made up for the test. They come from articles in the in-game Criminal Code and Administrative Code, which the Traffic Police later use to issue prison terms and fines. The numbers are easier to remember in pairs:
- Bodily harm — 1 year for a civilian, 2 years for a government employee;
- Murder — 4 years for a civilian, 5 years for a government employee;
- Car theft — 1 year for an attempt, 2 years for stealing the car;
- Carrying a weapon without a licence and disobeying an officer — 2 years each;
- Selling prohibited substances — 3 years; a government employee taking a bribe — 5 years.
The Administrative Code section covers six articles: a traffic accident caused by breaking traffic rules — ₽30,000 and licence confiscation; driving where it’s not allowed — ₽15,000; illegal parking — ₽10,000; and failing to follow Traffic Police instructions, making a false call, or insulting a government employee — ₽5,000 each.
Watch out for charter trick questions
Most charter questions are the same across all government factions, so it’s the exceptions that can trip you up:
- Accessories — the Traffic Police and Police Department allow “glasses only”; the Army and Prison Service allow “glasses and masks”;
- You can attack a civilian first only if they’re wanted. The Army and Prison Service don’t have this question;
- The leadership ranks are colonel and lieutenant colonel;
- Duels are forbidden, even with a colonel’s permission.
Keep the Administrative Code in mind on patrol
You’ll need those same articles on patrol after the test. The speed limit at a Traffic Police post is 60 km/h. Officers stop cars with a baton, check the vehicle registration and driving licence, and can issue a fine—no more than 5 per day—or confiscate a licence. Anyone who fails to stop when ordered is automatically wanted. Only an officer above rank 7 can cancel fines, also up to 5 per day. Get an article wrong at a post and it’s no longer a failed test; it’s a player complaint against you on the forum.
Check the answers against your server
The questions above match word for word the official forum post about promotion tests given by an NPC (a game character). That’s how they’re asked on most servers. But each server has its own forum sections for faction charters, the Criminal Code, and the Administrative Code, and the wording may differ. If the in-game question is different, look it up in Tablet → Factions → Documents on your server.
Keep ranking up after the test
After this, you rank up by completing tasks for senior staff, not by taking more tests with the duty officer. On one server, the requirements for rank 3 are two training sessions, 15 minutes of patrol with a radio report every 5 minutes (including a /time screenshot), and passing a test on the charter and post rules with an officer of rank 7 or higher.
