Traffic Police checkpoints, radar guns, pursuits with EMPs and spike strips, fines, and licence confiscations—it’s all part of the Traffic Police. They pay more than any other faction when you start out, but the entry requirements are high.
Get your documents and pass the HR interview
Requirements listed in the official guide:
- Account level 4;
- a medical card;
- military ID—join the Army (reach rank 3 and submit a report) or pay 129 BC (donate currency);
- a gun licence (level 4, 70 lawfulness points, and ₽30,000 at the Government);
- a category B driving licence.
Getting there: Map Legend → “Government Factions” → the car icon with a beacon, or /gps → Government Organizations → Traffic Police Department (Отдел полиции ГИБДД). There are two headquarters, so go to the closer one. Take the 8-question interview at the duty station: one mistake and you fail. You can try again after 5 minutes. Find the answers in the HR department guide.
If the HR department won’t let you in, message senior faction members: Forum → your server → Government Organizations → Traffic Police. Recruitment announcements are posted during events, so check /news.
Compare pay by rank
Hourly pay is from one server. You get paid at PayDay (the payout at the end of the hour), and the amount rises with faction efficiency. It’s boosted by the “Speed Control”, “Manhunt Plan”, and “Prevention” initiatives—one per day, each lasting 15 minutes. The bonus for completing 5 tasks in a day is about ₽75,000.
Start your first shift
You can get your uniform in the changing room on the 1st floor, behind the “Break Room” door. The charter only allows you to go AFK (away from the game) there. Going AFK outdoors while in uniform is a violation. Next, open the faction documents on your tablet and take the internal tests. You can find the answers in this Traffic Police answers guide. After the tests, tasks unlock. There are 10 types: renew a driving licence, patrol, automatic enforcement, stopping power, speed control, pursuit, long-distance driving, special equipment, “Lunch Is Everything”, and baton.
Traffic Police checkpoints, radar guns, and pursuits
- The speed limit at a Traffic Police checkpoint is 60 km/h. The baton only works there: aim at a car, and it should pull over to the side of the road. If the driver doesn’t stop, they’ll be wanted.
- You can issue no more than 5 fines per day. An officer above rank 7 can cancel a fine, also up to 5 per day.
- A stationary radar works for 10 minutes, and you can take 2 of them. You can’t switch off a radar once it’s placed. A handheld radar costs 100 units of material. Find the locations with
/radarmap. - Pursuit:
/base→ find the player → press charges, specifying the wanted level and the article. Use an EMP (which stalls the engine) and spike strips during the pursuit. The suspect can counter an EMP with a PDU—a suppressor that protects them for 30 seconds. - When an officer renews a driving licence, 90% of the payment goes to the government and 10% goes to you.
You can spend task tokens in the faction shop (Tablet → Factions → Shop). The donation exchange rate is 1 token = 10 BC. The shop unlocks the BMW S 1000 motorcycle and the Marussia. The guide lists its model as B1 in one place and B2 in another. If you crash a service vehicle, you’ll be fined from your account.

Follow the charter
Based on the charter test and general rules for government organizations:
- Making someone wanted or fining them without an IC reason (a reason within the game) results in a warn, an administrative warning.
- You can’t stop and search a car without an IC reason. The leader handles complaints about this.
- To make someone wanted, use
/suwith their ID, 1 to 6 stars, and a reason in the format “Art. 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation”. Citing a nonexistent article is a violation. Find articles and sentences in the Criminal Code, and fines in the Administrative Code. - Using service vehicles, beacons, or sirens for personal reasons violates a federal decree. Under the general rules, using a service vehicle for personal reasons means 30 minutes in jail.
- You can’t go to the casino, container events, car market, or auction while in uniform, and you can’t take a second job. The penalty is 30 minutes in jail.
- You can only wear glasses as accessories with your uniform. Duels are banned, even with a colonel’s permission.
- Use the [ГИБДД] tag in department radio. Find the radio rules in the radio guide.
Leave and keep your token-purchased vehicles
Tablet → Factions → Members → your nickname → “Leave”. The button won’t work unless you have the “Determination” upgrade or VIP Silver or higher—if not, ask a senior member of the faction. Your rank will reset, but you’ll keep access to vehicles bought with tokens if you rejoin. To decide where to go next, compare the factions: your Traffic Police rank opens the way to the FSB.
