The FSB is the only government faction you can’t join through an HR department desk. You have to transfer in: serve in another law enforcement agency first, then apply to the FSB leader.
Work your way up to the FSB
Official requirements:
- Account level 3;
- Medical card and category B driving licence;
- Military ID;
- Weapons licence—available only from level 4 with 70 law-abiding points.
On top of that, the in-game guide says senior staff “usually” expect you to have a rank in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Army, or Traffic Police, and a level above 3. The leader can add their own requirements. So the actual path looks like this:
- 1
Join the Army at level 2 and serve until you become a sergeant (rank 3)—this gets you a military ID.
- 2
Get a weapons licence from the Government: level 4, 70 law-abiding points, and 30,000 ₽.
- 3
Transfer to the Traffic Police or Police Department and earn a rank there to get law enforcement experience.
- 4
Open Forum → your server’s section → Government Organizations → FSB and read the joining FAQ.
- 5
Submit an application or contact the leader’s reception, then wait for an interview or a recruitment event (/news).
- 6
After you’re accepted, use the locker room in the right-hand corridor on the 1st floor and take the charter tests on the tablet.
Keep in mind: if you’re accepted through a forum application, your starting rank can’t be higher than 3. When you leave your old faction, your rank resets and your tokens may expire, so spend them before transferring. Read more about the Army and Traffic Police on the Army and Traffic Police pages.
Compare pay by rank
An FSB private earns 4,500 ₽ per hour—slightly less than a Traffic Police private. But a colonel earns 24,000 ₽, more than anyone else. These figures are from one server. The bonus for completing 5 tasks in a day is about 70,000 ₽. Raise your efficiency, which affects your pay, by taking on the “Fight Against Contraband,” “Raid,” and “Undercover” initiatives.
Work undercover
The FSB’s signature feature is infiltration. It unlocks at rank 4 and is used for the “Undercover,” “Patrol Inspection,” “Materials Delivery,” and “Tougher Detention Conditions” tasks.
- Locker room → “Special Outfit” marker → choose a faction, uniform, and position.
- You get a temporary skin, another player’s nickname, the faction’s internal chat, and access to all its functions. You’ll also appear on its employee list.
- Search employees through the radial menu (“Conduct a Search” or “Frisk”) and seize contraband.
- An employee of that faction at rank 7 or higher can search you and find the hidden microphone. Your disguise will then be blown, and management will fine you.
- The disguise limit is 60 minutes; you can only use it again after an hour. Use
/qspyto end it early.
The FSB can also take equipment from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Traffic Police, Prison Service (ФСИН), Army, and Government warehouses. From rank 9, you can fire an Army, Traffic Police, or Police Department employee. There are 9 task types in total: undercover work, secret documents, patrol, document checks, deadly force, business oversight, patrol inspection, materials delivery, and tougher detention conditions.
FSB tokens can be used in the shop to unlock the Ford Explorer and Xiaomi SU7. 1 token = 10 BC (donation currency). Crashing a service vehicle gets you a 300 ₽ fine.
Use FSB commands
| Command | What it does | Syntax | Who can |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire an employee of a law enforcement faction (Army, Traffic Police (ГИБДД), Police Department). FSB: rank 9 or higher. | /dismiss [id игрока] | by section: Help Center: FSB Service | |
| Request to check a player’s licences. | /lic [id игрока] | everyone | |
| Using the OOC radio to spy on government factions | — | by section: Help Center: FSB Service |
Nothing matches. Clear the search or pick another filter.
Command names differ between sources: the OOC radio for spying on government agencies is /mc in the guide but /rnc in forum lists; the fire command is /dismiss in one source and /dissmis in another. Check your server under Tablet → Information → Command List → Law Enforcement. General police commands (handcuffs, arrest, wanted status) are on the Police Department page.
Follow the federal resolution
The FSB monitors discipline in other law enforcement agencies under the federal resolution and is subject to it too:
- Giving someone wanted status without an IC reason (an in-game reason) results in a warn. Only the FSB can issue wanted status under Article 20 of the Criminal Code (terrorism).
- You can punish employees of other agencies from rank 9 (lieutenant colonel), and only for violations listed in the resolution.
- Every punishment must be reported on the forum: nickname and position, offender, organization, clause, penalty, and evidence.
- Punishments for employees at rank 4 or higher must be approved by the leaders of both agencies.
- Firing someone in violation of the resolution is itself a violation; the leader reviews complaints.
Leave with a plan for getting back in
As in other factions: Tablet → Factions → Roster → your nickname → “Quit.” You’ll need the “Resolve” upgrade or VIP rank Silver or higher. Otherwise, ask the leader or deputy to fire you. Your rank will reset, and you’ll have to apply again to rejoin the FSB. General rules for leaving are on the factions page.
