Head to the market: Menu → Navigator → Car Dealerships → “Used Car Market.” Choose a class at the entrance to see how many cars are listed.
- 2
Compare the price with the dealership price for that class—players call it the “government price.” A stock car without ECU tuning won’t sell for more than the dealership price: people buy it for a quest, not to drive.
- 3
Check the car before paying: ask the seller to enter /sellmycar to show the car’s details. Check the mileage, ECU tuning, and other upgrades.
- 4
Haggle and don’t rush, even if the seller is pressuring you. That’s the official guide’s direct advice.
- 5
Get the car ready to sell: repair and refuel it, and repaint it at a styling center if you want.
- 6
Sell it with /sellmycar ID price. The player with that ID gets a trade offer for your car at your price. Any items in the trunk go with the car.
- 7
Record your screen during the deal. Support won’t restore your property without a video.
Start on an older server with a low-class car
Every server has its own used car market, and the market on new servers is empty. In a car-flipping video, Kreyt shows a server that had opened just two months earlier: there are no high-class cars on the market, eight mid-class cars, and ten low-class cars. There aren’t many cars or players with money, so it’s very hard to make a living flipping cars on a new server. Older servers have more choice and buyers with more money.
A stock ZAZ is for quests, not for selling
A new player’s first car is usually from the dealership, bought for a quest. In the same video, a ZAZ costs 20,000 at the dealership, but he can barely sell it for 15,000 at the market—every beginner has one. Bestik reaches the same conclusion in the first episode of “Hobo Path”: cars without ECU tuning “are no use to anyone,” and the offers for stock “sixes” and “sevens” are lower than the seller’s asking price.
The cars that sell are the ones people want to keep
- Low class: Golf and Priora with exterior upgrades. Kreyt buys a Priora for 172,000 and sells it almost immediately for 210,000.
- Mid class: The BMW E34 sells well; according to the creator, the Skyline doesn’t. Expensive mid-class cars sell “way below the government price.”
- ECU tuning and suspension raise a car’s value: in the video, a car with three ECU tunes and air suspension is listed for several times the price of a stock one.
These examples are a couple of years old: Kreyt’s video came out in 2023, and Bestik’s series in 2024. Popular models change with updates. Dealership prices and specs for every model are in the car catalog.
Check the car before you pay
The official guide warns you not to rush at the used car market and to check the mileage carefully. You can see the car’s details after the seller enters /sellmycar. Use /carpass ID to check its registration document.
- ECU tunes come in four types: Drift, Comfort+, Sport, and Sport+. You can get them at the Arzamas Technical Center, but only a full set of parts for one tune works—a mixed set is worthless.
- Test-driving from the buyer’s seat is risky. Kreyt warns that cars people let you “take for a spin” often get stolen. You drive; the buyer rides along.
- The trunk goes with the car. That’s a downside for the seller and sometimes a nice bonus for the buyer.
Watch out for market scams
Saigo’s and Ayra’s “Scamming the Used Car Market” series have hundreds of thousands of views. Market scams tend to follow the same patterns, so learn to recognize them:
- Swap scam. Someone offers a trade with extra cash (“let’s trade, I’ll add money”), but the trade window shows a different car or amount. Check the whole window. The guide says to make sure you’re getting and giving exactly what you want.
- Fake command. “To sell, enter /sellmycar 2828 price—2828 is the bank account number.” The ID in
/sellmycarmust be the buyer’s ID, not an account number. Otherwise, you’ll sell the car to a scammer. This violates rule 3.11 and can get you banned for 15–30 days or permanently. - “I’m an admin.” Threatening to block you unless you lower the price violates rule 3.10. Penalties include a 7–15-day ban and a server blacklist.
Cheats like the “hydraulics” used to trash the market in some videos are a straight path to a ban. Find the full list on the server rules page.

Combine car flipping with a job
Kreyt sums it up honestly: if everyone becomes a car flipper, the market will die. It depends on players selling their own cars and buying cars “over market.” You won’t make tens of millions on your own at the market. His routine: two diving shifts (available from level 18), then hit the market during the one-hour break. If you’re under level 18, work as a trucker. See how much these jobs pay in the job table.
Where to go after your first few million
- Auction: Cars, license plates, SIM cards, and businesses. Bids go up by at least 3%. Lots are listed until 20:00 Moscow time, and bidding closes at 23:00. According to Kreyt, most lots are listed above market price, but every so often you can find something for next to nothing.
- Container Battle in Arzamas runs every hour at 30 minutes past. Containers hold a car, clothes, or an accessory. You can claim the prize or sell it right away.
- Businesses: Reselling businesses is just like car flipping, but with bigger stakes. A kiosk for 3 million in a “dead spot” with almost no payout is a bad buy—you might not resell it for more in time. Check the payout for every location in the business table.
