The series shows popular scam methods so viewers can recognize them. Here are some general safety rules that car flipping creators keep repeating:

• Ask to see the vehicle registration document: the car details are visible after the seller enters /sellmycar. A car that looks upgraded with hydraulics but is listed as stock is a classic trick.
• Don’t pay upfront. Use the trade window so both sides can see the terms and confirm them.
• Be careful when someone offers you the “wheel” for a test drive: Kreyt warns in his car flipping guide that cars people let you drive are often stolen.
• Read the trade window before confirming. In his first episode, Bestik catches a “trade” offering a ZAZ for his car with 14,000 extra—basically giving it away.
