How to Sell a Car in Black Russia

Need cash fast? Use /sellcar: the government takes your car instantly, but pays less. To get more, use /sellmycar ID price with a player at the used car market. Trade cars with /changeprop ID or the “Trade” button in your inventory. Trades unlock at level 3.

The official guide describes four ways to get rid of a car: sell it to the government or another player, trade it, or put it up for auction. The difference comes down to speed and money.

Sell to a player if you’re not in a hurry

Your best bet is the used car market: Menu → Navigator → Car Dealerships → “Used Car Market.” The market is divided into classes at the entrance, so buyers can immediately see how many cars are listed in each one.

A safe deal in five steps

  • Spawn your car on the server. /sellmycar sells the car that’s currently on the map.
  • Clear out the trunk. Anything inside is considered sold with the car. Open the trunk with /car or /trunk.
  • Show the documents. After you use /sellmycar, the buyer can see the car’s details. Show the vehicle registration with /carpass ID. Mileage and tuning are what buyers care about most.
  • Set a price with /sellmycar ID price, where ID is the number next to the buyer’s nickname. Price it at least 10% above the government offer, and repair the car before selling.
  • Record your screen. The official guide specifically recommends recording every deal.

Sell to the government if you need cash now

“Sell to the government” means using /sellcar. A window shows the terms, and once you confirm, the money arrives instantly. The guide honestly warns that the deal is “not very profitable.” The idea is to sell cars nobody’s buying on the market, or when you need cash right away—for example, to place a bid at auction.

Put a rare car up for auction

For limited-edition and seasonal cars that players will bid on, there’s an auction in Yuzhny: /gps → Important Places → Auction, then in the building /auction → Sale → Cars. Here’s what you need to know:

  • The auction unlocks at level 3. Bidding runs from 8:00 to 23:00 Moscow time, and you can list a car until 20:00.
  • Each new bid must be at least 3% higher than the current one, so the price of a popular listing climbs on its own.
  • You can boost your listing in the results for a fee. The cost depends on the price you set.
  • Changed your mind? Remove the listing under “My” → “Sale” to get your car back.

Trade cars with a command

Trading unlocks at level 3. There are two ways to do it.

Through your inventory—with a nearby player

Inventory → “Trade” → the game will suggest the nearest player. Make sure it’s the right one. Choose the items and extra cash in the window, then the other player confirms.

Use /changeprop to trade a car or house by ID

You’ll need the player’s ID—the number next to their nickname. Enter /changeprop ID, then choose your property (house or car), their property, and any extra cash. You can add the extra cash right away: /changeprop 127 150000 means you’re trading and paying 150,000 ₽ to the player with ID 127.

The cost of a mistake. Check the ID and the entire trade window carefully. The official guide won’t restore property lost without proof or because of a game bug. Giving a car away “just because” is also a violation. Transferring it to your own second account disguised as a trade is a section 4.05 offense, punishable by anything from a warn to a PermBan.

Don’t let a scammer take your car

  • Fake command. A common scam in the rules (section 3.11) goes like this: “To sell, enter /sellmycar 2828 price—2828 is the bank account number.” The /sellmycar command takes the buyer’s ID, and the car goes to whoever has that ID. The scammer may get a ban for 15–30 days or permanently, but you won’t get your car back.
  • Keys. /allow gives another player the keys—in other words, temporary access to your car. Don’t give your keys to strangers, not even “for a test drive.”
  • Family. The “Add car to family” option in /car transfers the car to your family’s fleet. It’s not a sale, and you won’t get paid.

You can sell the plate separately

Buy plates at the Traffic Police (ГИБДД) with /buynumber for 5,000 ₽; a new-style plate costs 2,000 ₽. Remove plates using /car → “Remove license plates.” A plate is a separate item, with its own auction category, so you can sell a custom plate separately from the car. Pay property taxes at the bank.
