Of all the government factions, Media has the most practical test: two-thirds of the questions aren’t about the charter, but about the faction’s day-to-day work—how to edit an ad and when you can go on air. A bot asks the trainee the questions, and passing makes you a photographer [2].

Edit ads using the template
The nine ad questions all test one thing: can you turn “selling a house for 100k” into a proper ad? The correct answers make the rules clear:
- Start with the action, then name the item: “Selling a house.”, “Buying a car…”;
- Write car as car and put the model name in quotation marks: “Buying an Audi A4 car”;
- Write out the full amount, using a period and the word “rubles”: “Price: 100,000 rubles”, “Budget: 200,000 rubles”;
- Use “Price” when selling and “Budget” when buying;
- If there’s no price, use “Price: negotiable”; if there’s no budget, use “Budget: unlimited”;
- Don’t publish SIM card numbers: “Selling an ‘XXXX’ format SIM card. Price: negotiable.”
Three ads you must skip
You can’t edit ads looking for a lender or borrower. Selling tea is forbidden in any form—the correct answer is: “Selling any kind of tea is forbidden.” If an ad’s meaning isn’t clear, don’t guess; skip it using the “Next” button. But ads about interviews to join a family or a gang can be published. People get this question wrong if they assume anything criminal is banned.
Follow the rules when you go on air
The five broadcast questions are short, but watch the numbers:
- Only one broadcast can run at a time;
- Broadcasts are allowed from 8:00 to 23:00 Moscow time;
- There must be at least 30 minutes between broadcasts;
- Talking about politics on air is strictly forbidden;
- Insulting or humiliating anyone is strictly forbidden, and so is swearing.
You won’t be able to host a broadcast right away: the commands for going live and passing the microphone to a guest are available from rank 6, while government news becomes available at rank 9.

Don’t mix up the Media charter with the police charter
The ten conduct questions are similar to those for other government factions, but Media has its own answers:
- The leaders are the director and producer;
- Using weapons on Media property is forbidden. The question isn’t about using a “service weapon without cause,” as it is for law enforcement;
- Duels are forbidden, even if the director agrees;
- The department radio tag is [Media].
The Media test has no question about accessories, but it does ask about swearing: swearing on air is forbidden. The other answers are common to all charters: every employee must follow the charter, serious violations can get you fired, service vehicles aren’t for personal use, and you can sleep only in the changing room.

The requirements are simple: level 3, a medical card, and a category B driving licence. First, take the eight-question test at the HR department. It’s the same for every faction (answers here): one mistake means you fail, and you can try again in five minutes. Once accepted, you’re a trainee. The organization menu—the /fmenu command—will then have documents to study and this test.
Starting pay is among the lowest in government factions: according to one server’s table, a trainee earns 1,600 ₽ an hour, a photographer 2,340 ₽, and a journalist 3,450 ₽. The rank 2 task is “Best Editor,” which means editing the same kinds of ads, so the template section above will come in handy every day. I’d join Media not for the pay, but for the calmer work without shootouts, and for the chance to host your own show on the server. Check the answers against your server
The official Media answers topic is called “Answers to Tests [/fmenu]”—judging by the title, you can open the test through the organization menu, not just by speaking to the staff member on duty. The topic is maintained and signed by the Media director, and was last updated on October 23, 2026. On other servers, the director may change the wording or add rules for editing ads. If a question is worded differently, open the faction documents in /fmenu: the correct answer almost always repeats the wording of a charter or ad-editing rule.
