Every ad on the server goes through a Media editor, and employees from rank 6 host radio broadcasts. This job is for people who prefer writing to shootouts, but mistakes can cost more than you think: one ad you approve by mistake can get you banned.
Join the Media
Requirements:
- Account level 3;
- a medical record;
- a Class B driving licence.
As with the Hospital, you don’t need a military ID or a license. Apply through the HR department: take an 8-question interview. Make one mistake and you’ll have to wait 5 minutes to try again. You can find the answers in the HR department. Or contact senior staff: Forum → your server → Government Organizations → Media. Once accepted, complete the paperwork and take the charter test on your tablet: Media answers. It has 26 questions, and more than half are about ads and broadcasts.
Compare salaries by rank
The starting salary is the lowest of any faction: 1,600 ₽ an hour. But at rank 6, you become an editor and start earning 6,500 ₽, and you can host broadcasts. The director earns 16,000 ₽. These figures are from one server. The bonus for completing 5 tasks a day is 20,000–40,000 ₽. The top positions are director and producer.
Is the Media right for you?
It’s a good fit if you write well and don’t rush. According to the rank table, junior employees mainly work on “Best Editor” and “Delivering Campaign Materials” tasks from ranks 2 to 7. In other words, you’ll edit ads and drive around the city. The starting pay is lower than at the Hospital (1,600 vs. 2,500 ₽ an hour), but by rank 8, a Media manager earns 10,400 ₽—more than a surgeon. If you run a channel or enjoy using a microphone, broadcasts from rank 6 are the only faction job of their kind. I’d join for the broadcasts, not the salary.
Edit ads by the rules
Edit ads with the /edit command. Use the wording from the charter test:
| Submitted | How to send it |
|---|---|
| “Selling a house for 100k” | Selling a house. Price: 100,000 rubles |
| “Buying an Audi A4 car for 200k” | Buying a car “Audi A4”. Budget: 200,000 rubles |
| “Selling SIM card 7777” | Selling a SIM card in the “XXXX” format. Price: negotiable |
| “Selling tea 1 g 100k” | Don’t send it: selling any kind of tea is forbidden |
- If there’s no price, use “Price: negotiable”; if there’s no budget, use “Budget: open.”
- If you can’t understand what the ad means, skip it with the “Next” button. Don’t guess.
- Ads looking for a lender or borrower aren’t edited.
- You can advertise recruitment interviews for families and gangs.
What can get you banned
- Advertising promo codes in an ad gets you a 30-day ban.
- Changing an ad to say something different from what was submitted gets you a 7-day ban and puts you on the organization’s blacklist.
- Offering to trade donate currency or services for in-game items (“Trading 500 BC for a car slot in a family”) gets you muted for 30 minutes; a repeat offense gets you a warn.
- Editing an ad that breaks the rules gets you muted for 30 minutes. The rules give this example: a player submits one word, and the editor turns it into a complete ad.
Host broadcasts
- Broadcasts run from 8:00 to 23:00 Moscow time. Only one can run at a time, and there must be a 30-minute break between broadcasts.
- Politics, insults, humiliation and swearing on air are strictly forbidden.
- Use
/tto start a broadcast at rank 6 or higher. Give a guest the microphone with/givemic; they reply using/u. - The Media can send government news with
/gnewsfrom rank 9.

Common government organization commands include radio /r, department chat /d from rank 7, and the /fmenu menu. See the commands page.
Follow the Media charter
- Weapons are forbidden on Media premises. Duels are forbidden too, even with the director’s permission.
- Don’t go to the casino, containers or side jobs while in uniform. Don’t use a service vehicle for personal trips.
- You can only go AFK (step away from your device) in the changing room. Use the [СМИ] tag in department chat. See the radio rules for wave etiquette.
Leave through the director or producer
Tablet → Factions → Roster → your nickname → “Leave.” You need “Determination” or VIP status at Silver tier or higher. Otherwise, ask the director or producer to remove you. Your rank will reset. To compare your options, see the factions page. The closest peaceful alternative is the Government.
