At the Traffic Police (ГИБДД) warehouse, a coworker hits you with a work vehicle, so you empty a magazine into them. Your characters are in the same faction, and there’s no in-game reason for it—that’s TK. The punishment is harsher than you might think: one kill means an hour in demorgan, and two mean a warn, which immediately gets you kicked out of the faction.
- DM / ДМDeathMatch (deathmatch)
Killing or damaging another player without a valid IC reason. Damaging vehicles also counts. Defensive DM is allowed (video evidence is required if you report it). Exceptions: regular in-game conflicts, criminal organization territories, agreed-upon duels, and high-crime areas.
Example: A player walks up to a random person on the street and starts hitting or shooting them without any conflict or backstory.
Punishment: Jail for 90 minutes · rule 2.19
- TK / ТКTeam Kill (team kill)
Killing a member of your own or an allied faction or organization without an IC reason.
Punishment: Jail for 60 minutes / Warn (for two or more kills) · rule 2.15
- SK / СКSpawn Kill (spawn kill)
Killing or damaging someone on the home territory of any faction or organization, at a player's spawn point, or at or near the exit of an enclosed interior.
Punishment: Jail for 60 minutes / Warn (for two or more kills) · rule 2.16
- FF / ФФFriendly Fire
Friendly fire: damaging members of your faction or allies without killing them (leaving them with low HP). Difference from TK: FF means dealing damage; TK means killing.
Know who counts as one of your own
Clause 2.15 covers members of your own or an allied faction or organization. Your own means people in your faction; allies are those whose faction is allied with yours. Forum glossaries sometimes include family members too, but the official clause only mentions factions and organizations. If you’re not sure, treat anyone wearing the same uniform as one of your own.
The HR department asks directly: “Is it allowed to kill coworkers in your organization?” The correct answer is “Prohibited. This violates the game rules.” All eight questions are on the HR department answers page.
Breaking the rules or playing it fair
- Rule violation: You kill your partner because they took your work vehicle. Playing it fair: Role-play the argument and report it to a senior over the radio.
- Rule violation: You kill the same coworker a second time that evening—that’s a warn. Playing it fair: The leader or their deputy resolves the conflict.
- Not TK, but still bad: You injure one of your own and leave them with low HP—that’s FF (Friendly Fire). The general rules don’t have a separate punishment for FF, but for law enforcement, damaging someone without an IC reason on your organization’s territory means 90 minutes in jail.
Know the difference between TK, SK, and FF
TK is about who you killed. SK (SpawnKill) is about where: on a faction or organization’s main territory, at a player’s spawn point, or at or near the exit of a closed interior. FF is about how much damage: you hurt someone but don’t kill them.
| Term | What it means | Clause | Punishment |
|---|---|---|---|
| TK | Killing your factionmate or ally | 2.15 | 60 minutes in jail; 2+ kills mean a warn |
| SK | Damaging or killing someone at spawn, near a faction base, or by an interior exit | 2.16 | 60 minutes in jail; 2+ kills mean a warn |
| FF | Damaging a teammate without killing them | No separate clause | — |
| DM | Damaging or killing any player without an IC reason | 2.19 | 90 minutes in jail |
SK is banned for an obvious reason: a player has just spawned or walked through a door and can’t physically react in time. If someone goes into a building and you wait outside the exit with a weapon, that’s SK—even if there was a reason for the conflict. DM, DB, and Mass DM are covered on the what is DM page.
Remember the rules for government employees
Government employees have to follow two sets of rules: the server’s general rules and the general rules for government organizations. There are separate clauses on damaging your own faction members and fighting near them:
- Law enforcement factions: damaging someone without an IC reason on your organization’s territory means 90 minutes in jail; Mass DM there means a warn (clause 1.11).
- Army: damaging players outside the military unit’s territory is prohibited and means 90 minutes in jail; Mass DM means a warn. The territory starts beyond the barrier (clauses 2.01–2.02).
- Hospital: carrying a weapon while wearing your work uniform is prohibited, except in self-defense with video proof, and means 30 minutes in jail (clause 5.01).
A warn costs a government employee more than a civilian: you’re immediately fired from your faction, and you can’t return for at least 10 days. Find out what else a warn does and why three warns mean a ban on the warn guide page. The charters and rules for every faction are collected in the factions section.
Don’t confuse it with a transport company
When people talk about business, TK and SK mean something completely different: transport and construction companies. That’s what “TK bonuses” are about—the company, not killing someone. The same rule applies to both, in clause 4.14: if an owner doesn’t log in for 5 days, repair the vehicles in a TK, or stay active in an SK, the company is automatically reset with no compensation. See what else you can earn from in the businesses section.
Avoid getting punished
- Keep your weapon put away on faction territory and in the changing room. Accidentally shooting one of your own still counts as TK.
- Sort out conflicts with coworkers through your seniors. Every faction has its own charter and chain of command; settling things with gunfire isn’t part of it.
- If you kill one of your own by mistake, don’t leave the game. Leaving to avoid the consequences is evading RP (2.02), an extra punishment on top of the first one.
- If someone kills you, gather evidence. Record a video with
/timeand file a complaint on your server’s forum under “Player Complaints” within 72 hours of the violation.
