How to Join the Prison Service in Black Russia

The Prison Service guards Correctional Colony No. 3. There are fewer chases than in the police, but plenty of work with people who are locked up and really want to get out. If you recently escaped from prison yourself, you already know the colony.

Join the Prison Service

Requirements from the in-game help:

• Account level 4;
• A medical card and a category B driving licence;
• A military ID, earned through the Army or bought for 129 BC (donation currency);
• A weapon licence, which requires 70 lawfulness points and 30,000 ₽ at the Government.

The colony is on an island southwest of Busaevo, with a bridge to the north. Find the hammer icon in the map legend. The HR representative is waiting outside the colony building, not inside. The interview has 8 questions; one mistake means you have to wait 5 minutes and try again. Find the answers in the HR department guide. You can also join through a senior member using the Prison Service section of the forum.

You can change into uniform in the service building’s locker room. That’s the only place where you’re allowed to AFK (step away from your device). Get tasks from the duty officer at the service building entrance or on your tablet, but first you’ll need the documents and the test: Prison Service test answers, with 15 questions about the charter.

Check the salary by rank

The starting salary is one of the lowest among law enforcement factions: 1,950 ₽ per hour, the same as an Army private. But by rank 3, you’ll earn 4,500 ₽, so those first promotions pay off quickly. These figures are from one server. The bonus for completing 5 tasks in a day is around 70,000 ₽. The “Total Control,” “Inspection,” and “Exemplary Work” initiatives boost efficiency and your PayDay salary (paid at the end of the hour).

Learn the job at the colony

There are 10 types of tasks: additional investigation, convoy duty, medic, hidden stashes, always alert, keeping order, patrol, room inspections, preparing to transport prisoners, and the cafeteria.

Convoy from the Police Department

Get a prison van from the vehicle lot by the service building’s left wing, then gear up. You’ll find a mask and body armor at the “Equipment” marker next to the duty officer and weapons storage. At the Police Department building in Yuzhny, enter the holding cells in the inner courtyard. Find the “Prisoner List” pickup by the desk. Accomplices may attack on the way back. At the colony, honk before the first and second gates or they won’t open. Honk again at the drop-off point.

Prisoners: searches, reprimands, punishment cell

• Search prisoners using the radial menu, opened by a long press. You can confiscate items one at a time or take everything.
• A reprimand adds 10 minutes to a prisoner’s sentence; a reward takes 10 minutes off. You can remove an unfair reprimand.
• Put repeat offenders in the punishment cell. You both need to stand by the door. Time in the cell can’t exceed the prisoner’s remaining sentence.

Infirmary and visits

Change into your medical uniform in the treatment room at the infirmary. Up to 3 doctors can be on shift. Treat prisoners with /heal [ID] [amount], charging from 100 to 5,000 ₽. The prisoner can refuse treatment. For a visit, give a pass to a close relative using the radial menu or /groom, then use /startmeet [ID] [minutes]. To end it early, use /stopmeet.

Prison Service tokens can be exchanged for a Hyundai Grandeur or Toyota Land Cruiser 200. They appear in the shop in rotation. 1 token = 10 BC.

Don’t abuse your authority

• Releasing prisoners outside the intended mechanics results in a warn. Don’t use commands to take them outside the grounds or open the gates: escapes are only possible through the sewer system.
• You can’t punish someone just “for their nickname” either. Reprimands or time in the punishment cell without a reason are also violations.
• Releasing prisoners without a reason or behaving inappropriately toward them violates sections 5.1 and 5.2 of the federal regulation.
• The usual rules apply: don’t take a second job in uniform, visit the casino or containers, or use service vehicles for yourself. The penalty is 30 minutes in Jail.
• You can wear glasses and masks with your uniform. Add the [ФСИН] tag when using the department radio.

Transfer or quit the Prison Service

Tablet → Factions → Roster → your nickname → “Quit.” You need the “Determination” upgrade or Silver VIP or higher to quit on your own; otherwise, the leader or a deputy has to dismiss you. Your rank will reset. If you’re tired of the island colony, you can transfer to the Police Department or the Traffic Police with the same documents.
